Patriot Group International Celebrated for 268 Percent Growth on Inc. 5000 List

Third time’s (still) the charm for Patriot Group International (PGI) when it comes to the Inc. 5000.

The global mission support and training service provider is featured on Inc. Magazine’s list of fastest-growing private companies in America for the third consecutive year. PGI ranked 1,426 on the list, demonstrating 268 percent growth over the past three years.

“The first two years after we purchased PGI, we faced seemingly insurmountable obstacle after obstacle,” said PGI CEO Greg Craddock. “With the help of the best employees in the industry, we pushed through the hard times, always working toward our shared vision. We are so proud of our team. Without their perseverance, our company wouldn’t be on this list.”

PGI’s three-man ownership team, consisting of Al Buford, Robert Whitfield and Craddock, bought the company in 2009, dipping into personal savings and retirement accounts to fund the business. Now, PGI has more than 200 full-time employees and contract workers. Most are veterans.

Inc. calls the 2016 winners the “superheroes” of the U.S. economy. The Inc. 5000 List recognizes companies that excel when it comes to strategy, service and innovation—often in groundbreaking ways.

“Our employees translate the skills and experiences they gained serving our country to their careers at PGI, from analyzing geopolitical threats for global companies to guarding construction sites for intelligence agencies,” said Christy Beach, PGI Senior Vice President. “It certainly takes a specific kind of talented, passionate—not to mention adventurous—person to thrive within our company. We’re thankful to have such a great team.”

PGI offers expeditionary services to clients within the intelligence, defense and private sectors—often in austere environments where human rights are not protected by a strong government or law.

The company’s most notable recent contract wins include the Department of Defense Counter Narcotics and Global Threat Operations and Logistics contract and the Worldwide Protective Services contract for the Department of State. The veteran-owned company has offices in both Warrenton and Chantilly, Va.

PGI is PSC.1 certified (PSC.1 is an audit-based certification that establishes a written standard among private security companies). In addition, PGI has an ISO 9001 Certified Quality Management System. To learn more about PGI, visit patgroupi.com.
