CHANTILLY, Va. (April 29, 2016) — Patriot Group International, Inc. (PGI) has been named the fastest-growing Virginia company in the service industry and the second fastest-growing company in the entire commonwealth for 2015 by the Virginia Chamber of Commerce.
PGI was recognized for its growth and awarded the Vanguard Award for service providers as part of the chamber’s Fantastic 50 award program, the only annual statewide award recognizing Virginia’s fastest growing businesses.
“We are humbled to receive this award,” said Greg Craddock, PGI chief executive officer. “PGI has succeeded in securing two major prime contract awards so far in 2016, placing our company on a successful trajectory for the future. We’re proud to be honored for this growth accomplishment.”
Winners were announced at a networking reception and award banquet at the Westfields Marriott in Chantilly on April 28. More than 400 attendees participated in the banquet. A complete list of winners can be found on the Virginia Chamber of Commerce website.
Nominations for the 2016 Fantastic 50 were sought last fall. To be eligible, a company must be privately held with headquarters in Virginia, show sales between $200,000 and $200 million and demonstrate positive revenue growth and positive net income in its most recent fiscal year over the previous year. Companies are judged on their four-year sales revenue histories.
PGI also recently won awards from Inc. Magazine and Washington Technology Magazine. Inc. Magazine ranked the company #137 on its 2015 Inc. 500|5000 list, a ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing privately held companies. Washington Technology Magazine ranked PGI #3 on its 2015 Fast 50 list, a ranking of the fastest growing small business government contractors according to their five-year compound annual growth rate.
